Types Of HVAC Systems

HVAC, or heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refers to the mechanical and electrical systems used to provide indoor air quality in a building. The systems can be divided into two categories: primary and secondary. Primary HVAC systems are designed to cool and dehumidify the air in a building, while secondary HVAC contractors systems  are designed to heat and humidify the air.

There are a few different types of HVAC systems. The most common type is the central air conditioner, which uses an electric compressor to push air through vents in your home and out into the room. This type of system is usually used in larger homes or office buildings.

Another common type of HVAC system is the portable AC unit. These units are often small and can be carried from one room to another, making them great for use in smaller spaces like apartments or condos. They don't have as many features as central air conditioners, but they're cheaper and easier to use.

If you want to cool your entire home, you'll need a duct-free HVAC system. This system uses special coils that circulate chilled water through your walls and ceilings, instead of using air conditioning. This type of system is usually more expensive than other types, but it's good for large rooms or whole houses.

If you have a lot of insulation in your home, you might be able to save money on your energy bill by installing an attic fan unit. This unit uses wind power to move air up into your attic and down into your living space, helping you reduce the amount of heat that needs to be produced by your furnace or air conditioner.
